Establishing unity in the body of Christ  and promoting new church plants

Home Practically

We endeavour to model our functioning as an apostolic team on the team formed first in Antioch (Acts 13 and following).  The A.Net team has a overriding interest in perfecting the saints for the ministry of the gospel inspired by the fivefold ministries of Ephesians chap.4.

We believe that the idea of collegiality is biblical and should express itself at every level of governance from the local church to the A.Net Team. However, since the Trinity, which is at the heart of all things, has both collegiality (one substance) and headship we believe that a leadership team should have a designated leader, recognized as a result of his call and anointing. Raymond Vandeput fulfils the team leader role at the time of writing.

We are willing to make sacrifices for the sake of unity and put united action above individual preferences.  In this way we desire to overcome cultural and linguistic barriers and to truly manifest the oneness of the Spirit in all the beauty and richness of God-given diversity.

We work to develop a family of churches of many languages, races, nationalities and cultures from diverse horizons but who all hold the same values and philosophy of ministry.  This calling includes maintaining and developing good relationships with all evangelical and Pentecostal churches and thereby promoting unity within the body of Christ.

Our overarching mission, as a team and as a network, is play our part in the purposes of God in evangelising Belgium. We believe the most effective way is through planting churches, and caring and nurturing them in a healthy family. In order to accomplish this mission, we endeavour to apply the principles of multiplication at every level including forming disciples, training leaders and encouraging church planting initiatives.
