Antioch Network What is ANET

A.Net is a TEAM of leaders and a FAMILY of churches. The TEAM is made up of experienced leaders with different gifts. Together the team functions in an apostolic role towards the churches of the network providing friendship, advice, ministry and challenge as appropriate. The team also functions in an administrative capacity to organise the network according to the requirements of the national legislation concerning religious groups. The team is not an elected committee. Rather it is a group of leaders called by God with a common commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Kingdom, and to one another as friends and co-workers, bound together in love and brotherhood. We hold many things in common, but the "glue" is not an organizational structure or a common theology. Rather, we are held together by the recognition that God has placed us together to love and serve one another, to work together for His glory and His Kingdom, and to bless Belgium and nations beyond. We meet regularly for prayer, deliberation, and strategy for action, as well as sharing our lives together. Our common purpose is to give leadership to the network of churches placed in our sphere of influence and to oversee the planting of new churches.
A.Net is also importantly a FAMILY of churches linked through relationships with the team and with one another. The diversity is surprising, the languages spoken are many and we come from all parts of Belgium. But we believe that in the church, all racial, cultural and language barriers have been broken down in Christ and that God is more glorified by unity in diversity than in uniformity. We are a FAMILY with a mission – to plant and establish churches throughout Belgium and extend the kingdom of God.
